The Powerful Means Initiative (PMI) was developed to honor Father Sorin's vision that, "This college will be one of the most powerful means of doing good in this country." The Mendoza College of Business is committed to honoring this vision.
PMI has grown to encompass the Impact Consulting Minor, the Innovation for Impact Club and several other developing initiatives. Each component of PMI facilitates student involvement and puts their skills, experience and passion to work in partner communities for research, ideation, prototyping and iteration. From fighting poverty to promoting economic prosperity, students collaborate on ventures that move from ideas to implementation.
This program gives Notre Dame students the opportunity to move beyond the traditional classroom environment, making the world their classroom and leveraging business as a force for good.
